Britney ThomasParticipantI observed Grace as a provider. She was doing an assessment on myself (Britney) who was recently d/c’d from the hospital after a stroke. She was very in depth with her exam despite the limitations of there not being another person present. She explained telehealth and verified all information before proceeding with the exam.
I also observed Grace as a patient. A newly diagnosed patient with Type II Diabetes who received instructions on the importance of foot care and the usage of the Omnipod and Dexcom.
Other care professionals for the diabetes scenario could include an endocrinologist and a Diabetes educator.
