    1. As a physical therapist I would select videoconferencing because it allows me to see the patient as well as them see me for improved rapport, as well as being able to see the patients deficits. Typically patients point to pain locations and describe things by showing the motions of directional preferences and pain.
    2. The equipment I would use would be a laptop with a video camera in order to perform videoconferencing and ensure my patients are able to see me when completing the telehealth visit. I think it is important for them to see me so that I can demonstrate exercises for HEP.
    3. The population I would address when performing telehealth would be the rural population as they might have a more difficult time getting to appointments in person.
    4. My role, as a physical therapist, would be to evaluate and treat patients and provide home exercise programs or make recommendations that would benefit the patient based on the initial eval and decide whether they would benefit from continued telehealth services, or if they should be seen in person in the clinic.
    5. I would evaluate the quality of care the patients are receiving, as well as their satisfaction, my satisfaction, and if the patient is benefitting from receiving physical therapy in the telehealth format.
    6. The legal considerations I would address would be following HIPPAA regulations, and proper billing and insurance.
    7. Other professions that I would like to involve would possibly be OT or speech therapy services that this patient may need, nursing or other professions that may need to be involved in the care of this patient. I would refer out to other professions as necessary for my patient and allow them to determine if they can complete their quality of care through tele health.
    8. I would develop a few protocols, including having the patients address on file in case of an emergency involving this patient. I would also have protocols in place for proper scheduling, ensuring the patient is right for telehealth, and ensuring the patient has the proper internet set up for completing a telehealth visit.
    9. I would have a proper consent form set up that the patient is required to fill out prior to the visit to ensure they have provided written consent, however at the beginning of the session I would also explain the purpose of our visit to the patient and allow them to provide verbal consent as well before beginning the session.
