The telehealth experience with Sawsan was excellent. Her role as the provider in assessing a patient recovering from a stroke was effective in ensuring the patient was comforted throughout the exam. Sawsan’s virtual presence was professional and welcoming. She obtained consent, ensured security at the start of the meeting, and was clear about the purpose of the visit. As the provider for a cardiopulmonary patient, a remote patient monitoring scale would be helpful in tracking the patient’s daily weight. In addition to a pharmacist and physical therapist, a home health nursing assistant may provide ADL support for the patient recovering from a stroke.
Great collaboration in working with Sawsan.
