Final Virtual Telehealth Experience
Directions for Professions
You will complete a telehealth videoconferencing visit with another classmate (See attached list (XLSX)). You must contact the individual you will be working with using the attached email.
- You will perform two different roles during the encounter
- You will serve as a patient (during this role you will also evaluate the provider’s performance)
- You will serve as a provider from your professional area
- Physical exam
- As the provider, you will conduct a physical exam on the patient (see Module 8 videos)
- As the patient, you will portray a patient with the clinical issues outline & evaluate how well the provider performs the task (see Module 8 videos)
- Telehealth etiquette
- As the provider, you will provide appropriate telehealth etiquette (see Module 7 videos)
- As the patient, you will evaluate the provider’s telehealth etiquette (See TIPS survey in module 7)
- You will conduct the encounter using zoom
- Be sure to set up a time and one of you should send out a zoom link
- Be sure to record the session to the cloud
- You will need to post the recording of the zoom encounter in the discussion/forum session (see next section under Lesson Content)

- Review the cases and identify the case that you will portray. Then identify the case that you will serve as the patient for.

Evaluations
- Use the attached evaluations to assess the performance of your teammate when they are serving as the provider. Telehealth Etiquette and Physical Exam-Education checklist (PDF)
- After each encounter is completed discussed the providers performance.
- You will post the evaluation of your team member in the discussion board (see next section under Lesson Content)
